About Me

about me

I’m Alex Firdaus. I run this site.

It started in 2023 as somewhere to keep my own notes. I read a lot of manhwa, manhua and manga, and I kept losing track of which series paid off and which ones fell apart halfway through. Writing it down fixed that. Then other people started finding the notes useful, so I kept going.

That’s still what this is. Reviews and ranked lists, written after I finish a series rather than after I skim a synopsis.

So the reviews name the chapter where a series drops off. A list of nine stays at nine instead of getting padded to ten. And when I skip something popular, I say why.

I cover all three because I read all three, and the differences change what you should expect. Manhwa is Korean, full colour, built for a phone. Manhua is Chinese, usually adapted from web novels running into the thousands of chapters, which is why endings are rare. Manga is Japanese, black and white, and the only one of the three that reliably finishes.

New here? Start with manhua vs manhwa, then work through the top lists.

I’m one person, not a team, and I haven’t read everything. If a recommendation here was wrong for you, or there’s a series I should have covered, tell me. That’s how most of the gaps on this site get filled.
